I  Korean food. Most Korean places give you so many side dishes. When I was in Seattle I had a few regular spots I use to go to on 99 in the Edmonds/Lynnwood area.

I'm sure the Korea Town here has so much more to offer but I don't even know where to start.

I like Korean BBQ but prefer not to cook it myself.

I live in Glendale, btw.

Why don't you go to that teenybopper hangout at the Glendale Marketplace... lol... jk

I used to eat bulgogi there a lot... until they jacked up the price slowly.

EDIT: I'm trying to remember one somewhere on Olympic... I'll post it if I find it.

Theres a good place west of Downtown Los Angeles, on Olympic, let me find the name. I'm in Glendale too 🙂

Edit:

Chosun Galbi
3330 W. Olympic Blvd., (323) 734-3330.

Lunch special is $10 I think, comes with alot of food. Dinner is a litle more but the quality is great.

Manna BBQ on Olympic.

Nuff said. $14.99 all you can eat BBQ.

So many side dishes and good meat.

*SPLOOGE*

Don't bother going around 8pm+ though. There's always a freaking line that wraps around the building. sucks.

i like BCD Tofu (it's a chain...search for it on google)
For cheap korean BBQ go to corner house in ktown. it's where all the koreans go!

I'll second Manna. All-you-can-eat at a good price

Be careful if you're coming west on Olympic. The sign facing east is in Korean only, so you'll miss it if you're not careful 😛

manna is okay. you only go there to gorge yourself on all you can eat food. i'd give it 6/10. you can find better all you can eat kbbq places in orange county

around ktown there's 3 big places, bcd, nakwon, and hodori. IMHO it's all pretty much the same. bcd gives you the most food (if you get a combo plate) but also costs the much. bcd has their own webpage, so look them up. nakwon and hodori are both located on vermont @olympic (i think)

it's sad, i live in koreatown, i have a korean bf, and the only place i've been to is chosun galbee. but it was FREAKING good. japchae!

BCD is pretty good like weezergirl said. There's one in LA on Wilshire Blvd. and another in Rowland Heights near Colima Rd.

Shik Do Rak. Only been to the one in Garden Grove (which would be a drive for you) but there is also one in LA.

no.. HELL no. Avoid that place

On that same street in Garden Grove, there is a newly opened place to compete with Shik Do Rak, it's called Cham Soo or something like that. Much better food and service
The building that is attached to Shik Do Rak on the rightside... where the coin laundry place is, if you walk towards the back, you'll see a place to eat sul lung tang if you like that.. place is really small
There is a really good place in torrance if you want korean bbq type food
In los angeles, if you want haelmool tang, it's on Vermont and 7th

There's so many more, I'm korean and live in Southern Cali so I've been to a lot of the places. I have talked to a lot of the people who recommend places and try it out

That place is that bad? Hmm, it was filled with Koreans so I figured it was a good place.

no it's not that bad, but compared to the other places, it's not worth eating there

There are better places to eat for the same type of food.. within 2 minute driving distance from Shik Do rak in GG

I'll second the Hodori recommendation; especially after 1:30 am (early sunday morning, after saturday night clubbing)

Thanks for all the suggestion, guys. At least I got a good idea where to start. Since I'm not Korean and don't know the language, I'll try to stick to the English friendly ones.

By any chance you're Armenian? 🙂 My Japanese roommate who goes to Glendale Community College would complain to me and my other roommate that everyone there are Armenian and English is a second language.
