Looking to try different coffee's that people have found. WHOLE BEAN ONLY.

If you are going to suggest Starbucks, move along.

Needs to be a place I can order online as well as hopefully have like a sampler pack of some sort so I can try a bunch.

I get Seattle's Best and a few other things around here but would like to try some other stuff.
 
If you have a Caribou Coffee in your area, try their whole beans. I think they have very good espresso/coffee.
 
..I think the best deal going is the Colombian Supremo "San Francisco Bay" brand at costco. 3lbs for about 9.00. Doesnt have the over roasted burnt taste of so called french roast. Although they have it if that's what you want. I prefer the complex flavor of a medium roast whole bean.
 
Boy, Stumptown and Blue Bottle sure think highly of their coffee. Befor Blowing $15- $20 per pound on those give my first link a try, his coffee is always fresh and at $9 per pound cheap.

I also have a bag of the even cheaper costco coffee but much perfer Sivetz or Allan Brothers coffee.

Stumptown was the roaster for Ritual in the city before Ritual started roasting their own coffee. Stumptown's one of the best roasters (if not the best) in Portland.

As far as Blue Bottle goes, James isn't afraid to be snobby about his coffee 😉 But it's good, and if you enjoy the flavor of coffee rather than the roast then it's worth the money.

Others that I've tried and can recommend are Barefoot and Zoka. We gave both of them a look when we were looking for a roaster for the cafe. Both are solid choices.

And there's Ecco, but I haven't tried their coffee yet.

virtuamike already recommended some of the better ones. I would wholeheartedly recommend Zoka, Barefoot and Stumptown. I'd have to add Intelligentsia to that list as well, if only because they're very consistent and have some exceptional blends. Terroir has some great blends and single origins, and one of my favorite coffee shops out of Tulsa has some highly-reviewed blends and single-origins as well. Metropolis is another one that immediately comes to mind.

There are many others I'm forgetting I'm sure. I would also suggest you seek out a local roaster so that you can develop something of a relationship with the owners. It will be a lot easier for you to try different things. Also read Coffee Review for other possibilities.
