recommend me gpu and psu

so my hp gpu fried today and i cant buy a new gpu since my current psu is 300watt which is too weak
so could anyoen recommend me a psu for 500 watt and a new gpu although dont require a powerful one, only play fifa and sport games

Judging by the size relative to the IEC plug, I'd say it's standard ATX.

1. Where did he say it only powers the GPU? He didnt even imply it... And 2. Your "taste" in power supplies is ridiculous. Sure a quality PSU is good, but I think the SeaSonic i recommended in the first place was a bit high in price (and honestly over powered) For a VERY good PSU. Your recommendation is verging on insane.

That super expensive kingwin is way overkill, but somewhat understandable if you consider that a PSU can last you several builds. If you amortize the cost over say, 3-4 builds, it becomes much more reasonable.

That said, we really need to know what kind of resolution the OP uses and what performnce he expects. I personally think that the seasonic mnewsham recommend paired with the $140 sapphire hd5850 is a splendid solution for the interim and will tie the OP well until the 28nm GPUs come out.

I haven't seen any name calling yet...

Also a PSU can last several builds but all we know so far is OP has a prebuilt who says he is going to NOT get a prebuilt when he replaces this? If he is just going to get another prebuilt buying a $150 PSU makes no sense what so ever.

🙂 I'm just commenting on the fact that the OP specifically wants a new GPU to play sports games. He doesn't need a super-fancy Platinum one to power that 5850 and the rest of the system. I do like the XFX Cores that you linked to most recently though.
