Recommend me good speakers!

Using the onboard sound of the A8N-SLI. Was thinking of spending around $120 Canadian or so. Maybe more if it's worth it. I play games a lot and listen to some music.

What do you guys suggest?

Logitech X-530 5.1, great valued speakers w/ built-in wallmounts

Logitech Z-5300 5.1, awesome and a bit more expensive

Logitech Z-2300 2.1, awesome for two speakers

Creative P7800 7.1, excellent value for overkill LOL

i would suggest that you get the logitech X-530's and buy a separate sound card, rather than use the onbaord sound. The integrated sound is ok, but my audigy2 ZS stomps it. I'm not familiar with canadian dollars, but looking at ncix.com, you can get the speakers and the audigy2 ZS for $160 canadian or cheaper if you look around, which I suggest that you do. As you can see in my sig, I have that exact set up and it sounds really nice, especially with the volume turned up. Everything is clear and its probably the best value for sound. I think you should think outside of the computer speaker arena...get some bookshelf speakers + amp...that type of thing.

I googled for your mommaboard and Asus makes no mention of whether or not your onboard has its own APU... does it?
