A GM car with a 3800 (3.8 ltr) engine and overdrive. Buicks and oldsmobiles are great. I love mine.

You won't have to dick around with timing belt replacement or CV joint crap found on import or domestic FWD econoboxes. These cars are maintained to the hilt, and do have miles on them, but they're sturdy. Worth a look.

Again, Who buys used Police Cars? 70% Taxicabs and Livery service! How can that possibly be, if they're about to fall apart? These moderately priced, well maintained, heavy duty fleet vehicles are perfect for taxi service.Originally posted by: tnitsuj

I'm sorry, but I have driven a lot of police cruisers and thier is a reason they are usually retired after 2 years tops. Do you really want a car that has been driven like a rental pretty munch 24 hours a day for two years, and had band aid maintenance done on it? I wouldn't trust an old cruiser except maybe an old caprice and then only if it was a highway patrol car.
