Recommend me a universal remote for TV/DVD

So my family at home needs a new remote for their Sony TV and Sony DVD player. The front-panel on the TV doesn't work correctly so when you press volume up it does volume down, but I guess that doesnt matter--but meaning, they can't just use the channel changer on the TV.

Preferably under $20 and nothing too fancy.
