Not really, when people hear about trashy, polluted, guido filled New Jersey, they're hearing about North Jersey. Now Seaside Heights is more towards the south, but it's towards the shore and the northern influence seems to extend further south along the coast. People have that North Jersey accent, dress slutty, etc.

The rest of New Jersey isn't bad except for Camden, which really is just an extension of Philadelphia.

But there are huge section of New Jersey which are nice such as NW New Jersey which is mountainous, or SW NJ which is nice bay/seashore, or the Pine Barrens which extends along the state in the interior. I never realized this before, but when I went to the Pine Barrens I noticed that there are cactuses in NJ.

All interior and exterior shots of the Bada Bing were filmed on location at Satin Dolls, an actual go-go bar on Route 17 in Lodi, New Jersey.

About 15 years ago I was down in the Philadelphia area and I visited a friend across the river in New Jersey. We went to this strip club in Camden, NJ and they are wild there. If you had a lot of money, you could "make" a porn movie with one of the strippers if you wanted to.

If you are talking about Fantasy Showbar, you really don't want to do anything extracurricular with those chicks unless you want to end up at the doctor later. And no, I don't know from personal experience.

I thought it was common knowledge that the Bada Bing was ficticious and parts of it were filmed at Satin Dolls.
