I have 2 that I picked up at the campus bookstore for much less than a comparable one would have been elsewhere...even at WallyWorld or Target. Neither was cheap, ~$40, but good quality, well built. One is a true rolling backpack with shoulder straps and a hip pad, the other is just a rolling case. Do some looking around, see what you like, then search the web for it cheaper...

First rule of manhood:

Unless you are going on an airplane, don't use a rolling backpack.

Dude...if you have to worry about the "rules of manhood" in the first place...turn in your mancard.

A REAL man doesn't accept any rules or limitations.

Rolling backpacks are the menaces of society. I've seen many people taken out or almost taken out by them.

Might I suggest something with waist straps, such as the JanSport Agave? I have it and it's great. The waist straps distribute the weight over your hips and take a lot of it off of your back.
