I am sick of mozilla hanging, locking up and telling me I have an open window that's not responding and to close it before I open up another.....THERE IS NO FUCKING OPEN WINDOW!

Chrome or Opera. Are there any other reliable browsers out there?

Fix your Firefox install. Mine doesn't do that on any platform. If you insist on being lazy, Opera.

Yeah, I've converted to Chrome and it's become a sort of operating system for me. It syncs all my settings to any computer I go to, it syncs with my phone, and I use Docs exclusively in the office. It's actually really nice.

I swear I can't get Adobe to stop locking up my videos on FF. I just switched to Chrome and I really like it actually. It's snappier as well.

Opera, but not every site works nicely with it 100% still. :( For example, I can't pay my verizon.com bill with Opera... the balance part of the window always says it's currently updating and to check back later. I switch to IE and it's perfectly fine. Also if you go to verizonwireless.com and try and upgrade your phone, the scripting on the page is all fuct up. You'd think for a big provider like VZ, they'd have cross-browser developers. Of course after typing that out I just realized that I work on AT&T intranet stuff and they only support IE. :D

Chrome getting better with plugins.
Too many tabs + Page snooze are a good combo to keep tab load at bay. Notscript and flash block and firefox plugin advantage kinda goes away.

Have you updated your FF? Mine used to do that late 2011, but since updating I no longer have any issues. I recommend just re-installing and removing and add-ons that you don't regularly use.

The Open Window that needs closing, will probably just be a process that still hasn't terminated. Close it from Task Manager.

That said, why not simply try a few Browsers and see what you think? They all have their fans.

well to be honest Firefox without to many addons is possibly the best browser. and this comes after testing many on my personal PC
