I can't believe you'd actually recommend such a sick and perverted piece of filth on a public forum like this! You are the kind of depraved individual that has, through your patronage, brought the art of film making to a gutteral low. Anyone with the slightest bit of cinematic taste would immediately tell you that you are completely mad to think this rubbish can even hold a candle to Backdoor Sluts II.

Wooo Last ten years huh? makes it tough since 99.997% of the new movies are contrived boring BS.

Try Pulp Fiction, American Psycho, or Devils Advocate.

Good movies similar to The Recruit (have't seen it but know it's about Deception, Betrayal, Pacino)

The Insider
Heat
Carlitto's Way
Dog Day Afternoon
Serpico

Plus Godfather and Scarface, of course

Usual Suspects, The Game... some that I liked that I didn't see mentioned that fit the concept of the recruit as I understand it (which may be wrong since I haven't seen it)

You might like The Last Castle. Have you seen that? It stars that guy from the Sopranos and Robert Redford, and it's about a prison rebellion.

Here's a weird recommendation: [Waking Life, a very unique and thought-provoking movie. It's shot with actors and then colored in by animators. It explores the thin line between dreams and reality.

You could always go for a classic 80's film, a la:

The Goonies
Labrynth
Flight of the Navigator
The Never Ending Story
The Princess Bride
Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Great movie. When the kid ran at that guy, it shocked me. I sat there speechless.

On the agenda:

Gattaca - I haven't seen that in a long time.
Spy Game - "
Dark City - Never seen it.
City Of Lost Children - "
The Way of the Gun - "

I want to watch Band of Brothers. I'm guessing it won?t be on HBO again?

I've seen The Watcher and The Last Castle, both were OK.

I?ve seen most of the rest of the movies or am uninterested at this time.

I didn't think The way of the gun was that good.

I found "The Big Hit" entertaining though. I take it you've seen Three Kings?
