I'm a night person so I usually stay up late, and chill out, and watch a movie in bed before I hit the sack. I've seen everything from Lawrence of Arabia to The Recruit; which I really liked btw.

I kind of get in themes or patterns. I liked the recruit (I really like Colin Farrell), so can you recommend me a movie that is similar? Something that has came out in 10 years or less. I?ve seen The Bourne Identity, Minority Report, Sum of All fears, all the Bond movies and a lot more I can?t think of.

The Green Mile is a good late night before bed flick. Long though. But that's how I first watched it :)

Yeah, I've seen both. :(

Damn, this isn't going to work. I've probably seen all the movies any of you will reccomend.

It's like every thread you see on movies people bring up the same shit...

Pulp Fiction
PI
Memento
Requiem for a Dream
Shawshank Redemption
The Usual Suspects
Donnie Darko
Boondock Saints
Fight Club

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZzzz

I've probably seen 500+ movies in my time.

If you're willing to go back a little earlier, The Amateur was good and fits your theme. The old Jeff Goldblum film Into the Night almost fits. Gatacca is vaguely similar, and good :)

Boondock Saints. SLC Punks. Requim for a Dream. Fear and Laothing in Las Veags. Trainspotting. Snatch. Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels. Good Fellas. Resivoiur Dogs.

All share a somewhat common theme, and all are excellent.

I've seen all of these except maybe The Amateur and Into the Night. They don't sound familiar.

Maybe all watch Spy Game again. That was a pretty good movie.

I didn't mean to imply that at all. I loved most of those movies, it's just, who hasn't seen them?

When I said 500 movies, I didn't mean i watched Willy Wonka 500 times before I was 10. Seriously, what 500 movies from 1-10 did you see and understand? :p

Not many people have seen it, but it's one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

Frailty

"We don't kill people, we destroy demons."

I thought that was a pretty popular movie. I mean it's no Lord of the Rings but still...

Anyway, I'd recommend Gattaca and The Last Castle.

You haven't mentioned The Matrix. If you haven't seen it, get it. Although if I were a betting man, I'd lay odds that you've seen it before.
