Recommend me a head unit

Whoa, this post got messed up somehow. Anyway.

This is a very basic, cheap system. I want it under $150. Like MP3 capability. An aux input would be nice, but not a deal breaker.

I will not have an external amp, so high power will be good.

It goes in a Escort wagon, so I might get it from Crutchfield, as they have the adapters for the ugly round factory cassette.

I just don't know these days what's good. Pioneer, Kenwood, JVC, Dual, Alpine????

Cheap 6 1/2 speaker advice appreciated too.
