recommend me a good USB video capture device

I'm not looking for a TV tuner, I'm looking for a video capture device. I currently have Pinnacle Studio 8 with the PCI breakout box. Recording is good, but the software is buggy, and I can't use a PCI card with a laptop.

So, I'm in need of a good, inexpensive video capture device. So far I've only discovered Pinnacle Studio USB Moviebox 9. I don't have a lot of faith in Pinnacle and I can't find any reviews of the USB version. I already have a few video editing software packages, too. I just want a good USB capture device, preferably less than $200. Any ideas?
 
it's the "pinnacle" part of that link that turns me off 😛
