There isn't one really great card anymore... a combination of a few cards is the way to go now I think.
It's actually 0.5%, but I can rack up over $7,500 easily in a year, that's why I didn't mention it.

OK wait... if I spend $7501, do I get 2.5% on $7501, or do I get .5% on $7500 and 2.5% on $1? If the former, sign me up. If the latter, you have to spend much closer to $15,000 on the card tomake it worthwhile.
Citi Dividend Platinum Select and one or two other cards used to be 5% on gas, groceries and drug stores. Those were the main cards for most people around here until they got rid of the 5%.
