Recommend me a good anime...

Any particular kind of fighting? Eureka 7 is a pretty good anime as is Gundam Seed if you're cool with mech fighting. Other good animes include Ghost in the Shell 2nd Gig and Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex.
 
Berserk should do you nicely if you like fighting style anime.

I would also have to agree with GITS SAC and 2nd GIG.
 
What nsafreak listed are pretty good, especially GITS: SAC. A few other popular series are Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Berserk and Neon Genesis Evangelion.
 
Full metal panic, a good mix of fighting and story.

Also Gundam Seed has some really awesome fighting.

Like other have said Ghost in the Shell is freaking sweet.

 
Samurai Champloo is good.

Rorouni Kenshin has lots of fighting, but its a little less serious than some other anime.
