Recommend me a girlie case!

I'm putting a system together for my wife and she's after a nice "girlie" case. You know, something cutesy and sickening 😛 The only one she's found so far is this:

But there doesn't seem to be many more like that around. She doesn't want boring black or beige, it must have a window and look pretty.

Please help me keep the 'lil lady happy. Thanks 🙂
 
why not get a shuttle and customize it ^_^ my gf absolutely loves the shuttle I bought her and built from my old spare parts 🙂
 
You know, a Shuttle was one of the first things I thought of. For some reason she looked at me as if I had just insulted her mother 🙁

I think they're cute anyway...

What I like to do is get any case, but try to find like a window decal or something that looks girly. I think you should go that route. I think places like Directron have all kinds of Window decal.

One of my buddies did this. Shuttle case with clear acrylic front and he did a printout of some characters from her favorite anime and used it as a backing. She loves it. You can also do this with other cases that have clear acrylic over the front.
 
Whatever happened to those OEM hot-pink "Barbie cases", the ones that the surplus resellers were getting rid of as barebones systems a year or more back? One of those would likely be perfect for the OP, methinks.

I have used one of those cases and they arent buit very good, imo!

 
Hehe - thanks for all the suggestions.

She's now thinking about getting a plain boring beige one and custom painting it herself - she's an artist anyway, so it seems like it might be worth a shot. As long as it's a cheap case it doesn't matter too much if it doesn't turn out OK.

And if turns out good then I will post piccies, of course 😉

She can paint the blue rectangular parts of any drive bay cover with a picture of some sort. Or she can leave as is, and paint whatever optical drive you decide to put in there the same color scheme. Either black with blue tray door or all blue.

Aspire X-Dreamer is also a nice case that would be good case for anyone. Comes in different colors so one is bound to fit her personality. This is a fairly nice budget case that I've worked with and it's not too bad. This is not necessarily a girlish looking case but you don't want to get her something so far off the end that it's "cute" for all of a few weeks then starts to look garish. This is a nice neutral blue color. Has a few looks such as the window and the optical drive covers that hide what your drives look like behind a uniform facade. Also comes in yellow, black and puke green. There's a 1 and 2 version of the case, the one I worked with was a black 2 version but they both look pretty similar from the pictures. I think the 2 version only has a few extra led lights coming out of the front where the screw holes look to be in the acrylic.
 
Has she looked at the Enermax blue/silver Venus case? Or the Just PC Gazelle? There's an orange Gazelle that'll knock your eyes out. Tamer colors too for the less adventurous.

Seriously though, ever consider a Mac? What is her computer going to be used for?
