Bought my wife the 5 qt tilt head mixer from Kitchen-Aid.

Still thining about getting a bread maker.

Any recomendations for under $100. Hoping for hte I love this model that I own type of recomendation.

It'd be a waste of money to get a bread maker if you just bought a kitchenaid mixer.

3ish years ago I bought a cheap($50) Sunbeam Breadmaker and it's still going strong. I only eat 2-3 loaves a month though and if you have kids a loaf from this machine will likely last a day as they are small to medium sized. I'm not sure how long it would last if it was being used every second day or so. Sure is convenient though and unless your wife is stuck at home I wonder how willing she'd be to have to make bread by hand regularly?

You'll probably want to be buying one of the >$100 models, don't know anything about them, but suspect they'd be built to last.

A bowl-lift KA stand mixer. I think the tilt-head units still have problems with the transmssion (gear housing is plastic).
