I haven't seen Lilo and Stitch... but she's always reminded me of BOO from Monsters, Inc. :D

hehe, both are cute :) You have to watch Lilo&Stitch with her, although MichaelD doesn't recommend it ;)

Get some Teletubbies tapes from the library. They are mesmerizing to toddlers.

If that fails, you could try playing "How many dimes can you fit in your mouth" but for some reason whenever I play that game, I'm never asked back to babysit. Very effective!

Teletubbies scare me. :( Barney, maybe? Have 2-year-olds outgrown Barney already?

not according to my 2-year old neice. she loves barney. she loves dora the explorer too. when her parents put one of their video tapes on she is completely mesmerized.

I've never heard of Dora the Explorer... what is that? :) Might be worth looking into... I know she loves Elmo from Sesame Street...

Hehehe... why doesn't MichaelD recommend it? I've wanted to see it since it came out... I think it's out on video/DVD now, will make a note to rent and watch...

whats wrong with the park?

and the neighborhood mall over here has a kiddie play land that is free and the kids LOVE to go spend time there jumping all over the place.

have fun!!

The park is a good idea... I wonder if there are any in the LA area that are safe with a "kiddie play land." :) I guess I'm just worried the big kids will run her over...
Or get caught in the middle of a turf war :D

That would be fun and creative... I'm not sure if she's mature enough for one, but we can certainly try... when I put on a hand puppet at Toys R Us for her, she kissed its nose and kept petting it... I'm not sure if I could capture her attention with a show, but it's a great idea. :)

LOL yeah MichealD had a problem with the whole dysfunctional aspect of Lilo and Stitch

and as for bigger kids running over your little buddy at the park, you need to hover over her like a hawk so that doesnt happen. But parks and playgrounds are fun for 2 year olds.

*edit just saw you live in the LA area, are you required to don the kevlar before you walk out of your house in the morning? I think LA still has parks right?
:D

Four Australian guys that sing a bunch of annoying children's songs. They have movies out, they have a show on Nick Jr. and Noggin (or was it Disney?), they even do live shows.

Trust me, it's something you'll want to avoid at all costs.

Er... I'll take your word for it. :) I rented "Dance With Elmo!" last time, and she watched it three times straight...

Yeah my son loves the Wiggles. He also loves Lilo and Stitch, Ice Age, any type of Disney movie you can't go wrong with toddlers. The park is great also, bring bubbles, stuff to play in the sand, bike for her to ride, anything you can bring to the park. Childrens museum is also a great place to go to or an aquarium. Hope this helps.:)
