Recommend a temp phone

I am sending my oneplus six in for repair. What would be a recommendation that is anywhere for $180-400 that I can use and tinker with until I get this one back. I was even thinking of getting a Pixel 4A to try. This would allow me to sell one of the two once I get the oneplus six back in hand. I would be willing to lose about $50 bucks or so. Maybe I should be looking at a cheaper option like a Xiaomi or Pixel 3. Or even something of a burner status. I don't want to be totally inop while my phone is under repair.

ive had great luck with the xiaomi phones, specifically the note pro series. great phones for the $.
