Recommend a tablet+keyboard or hybrid laptop for $550

My wife is looking for a hybrid (convertible) laptop or a tablet plus a keyboard.

Uses:
Reading PDFs loaded from a USB drive.
Reading e-books from the library.
General Web surfing, e-mail while traveling.
Playing games like Puzzles & Dragons.

Must have:
Currently available--no preorder.
A good keyboard, either included or available (if the keyboard is third-party, please make a specific recommendation).
USB port (micro-USB OK but regular USB a plus).

Desirable:
Long battery life.
Price should be as close as possible to $550 (including keyboard).
