Recommend a space heater!

Well I live in a small studio basement apartment and the heating is controlled by management. I keep asking management to turn up the heat because I'm going to die from the cold but they don't seem to care. So I figure I might as well buy a space heater and keep my body warm. I'm looking to keep a 10x20 area somewhat warm.

Does anyone have a space heater they've used and could recommend?

it's silent, heats a 218 sq. ft. room, and can bring the ambient temp up 9.5F. It takes a max of 13 amps to power, but any comparable electric heater is going to take the same.

thanks guys! but i'll check into that oil heated radiator, it gets pretty good reviews on sites

It'd be cheaper to just OC the computer and turn off your case fans 😛

I agreed with your post & was adding to it. No hostilities from my end. We welcome all. You won't even have to drink the kool-aid if you don't feel like it. 🙂

Albis - with the cost of running a heater. A strong, sturdy pc is a viable alterative. Many testaments have been made to back up the cost effectiveness of such a choice.
