Recommend a Silent DVD-Rom for my Media Center PC.

I am rebuilding my Media Center PC right now and waiting on the board/cpu so I have had time to buy new cooling and add a fan speed controller which made a huge difference in noise.

I am currently running a NEC DVDRW and Dynex DVD-Rom. The Dynex is pretty quiet but I need another DVD-Rom for my other system so I figure if there is a known good,cheap,QUIET DVD-Rom drive , I will use it for my Media PC and the move the Dynex out.

Any recommendations on a very very quiet DVD-Rom drive for a quiet room DVD movie playback function??

Maybe a regular dvd-rom drive with the max read speed set to 4x would work well?

I have a regular Dynex DVD -rom. How would I make it stay at 4x? Isn't DVD playback supposed to be like 8x?

Just install and use something like Nero's DriveSpeed. Tray applet that limits the speed and spin up/down times of drives.
