antec sonata + 380W psu : 100
abit nf7-s: 120
barton 2500+ : 90
dual raptors in raid 0 : 280
wd 160 GB : 100
1 gb hyperx : 200
liteon dvdr/cd-rw : 242
ati 9500 NP : 140

okay so it's a actually about 1250 roughly, but hey its gonna be the fastest setup you can get -- much faster than the intel setups others are recommending because the money you save on the processor can go to dual raptors on raid 0 (scsi performance) and you'll have another 160 GB drive for all your storage needs. since hd's are the biggest bottlenecks in computers today, this to me is the way to go.

especially for the price, the 9600 pales in comparison to the 9500 NP from newegg, especially if you get lucky and are able to softmod the 9500 to a 9700
