recommend a psu for this build ($60 or less)

Help me pick out a power supply for this system, id prefer to keep it $60 or less please:

amd a64 3000 venice socket 939 (eventually a dual core)
nvidia 6800gt or 7800gt (buying soon, one of the two for sure)
evga nf4 sli (using one videocard for now ^^)
OCZ 2x512mb platinum 3200(400)
WD 120 + 80gb ide hard drives
SB Live 24bit soundcard
Lite-On DVD/CD-R
2 case fans so far
um..i think thats all

It's not a bad power supply at all actually. Rosewill's are rebranded Enermax. Check out these user reviews, take 'em with a grain of salt of course.

Anyway, for the OP's budget, this is a great deal.
 
thanks for all the quick responces, ill check into each...i will get a better psu as my budget allows but im trying to see what my bottom line is just in case 😛

can anyone recommend a good wattage? im looking for 450 minimum i guess, 500+ preferably
 
jeez, so many choices, i actually did a big no-no for the last couple years using the PSU that came with my aspire xdreamer 2 case *gasp* lol but its ran smooth as can be, with alot of heavy gaming sessions going.

LOOKS DO NOT MATTER, and im kinda curious to see how the roswill performs(now that ive found out its a newegg/enermax rebrand)...see this line:

hmmm....i could very well end up with a completely differnt psu by this weekend 😛 which is my birthday
 
There is a NIB Antec Smart Power 500W at the For Sale/Trade section. It goes for $50.00! Not bad at all!
 
thanks, i check it out, still not sure what to get...i may quit agonizing over it till i find out how much cash ill end up with this weekend.
 
ive put the fortron on my newegg wishlist, i think its what ill go with because ive had numerous people telling me how it performs alot better then most all in its class for that price(12v rails are better etc..)
 
i may have to stick with the 450, at least for now, as im hoping to have my whole system bought(using a temporary videocard) this weekend/upcoming week, im still lacking the cpu, psu, and videocard and i know which of those im getting. if i come out a little ahead on cash this weekend its for sure going towards the psu
