I need a phone that is capable of running a terminal emulation program so that I can log on to my Unix server.
It has to be a Sprint phone and needs a large screen so that I can see what I'm doing.
email + PDA functions are also necessary.

Are the Touch or Mogul phones by HTC any good?

Thanks.

Yes, they're fine. You should be able to hunt down a version of SSH for Windows Mobile (I want to say it's a putty port?), too.

There are rumors that the HTC Raphael (which is like the Mogul, but sexier and with a VGA screen) is coming out soonish, so you might want to wait for that, at least for a bit.

Cool. I'll look into it.
I am running pocket putty on my Treo700WX, but the screen is so small, that it's useless.

Thanks.

htc touch is good. I had the mogul for a while but i hated the small amount of ram. Thats why i switched to the touch with had a lot more ram. screen size is the same on both mogul and touch. it is 2.8" if i remember correctly.

The touch doesn't have a keyboard does it?
That's the deal breaker with the touch. I need all the screen room to see what I'm doing in Putty.
