Recommend a nice black case for me...

Hey,

Recommend for me a case with these characteristics:

1) Black color
2) Affordable
3) Pretty small
4) Good cooling/air flow
5) Cool looking 😎

I already have a nice PSU, so that's not neccessary... So what is a good case to get?

Just built a puter for a friend and tossed it into one of these...real easy to work with, and looks awesome with the blue led bubble channels on the front panel, which is sheet aluminum under acrylic. For the price, I think it's great.

I dunno that case kinda isn't what I'm looking for... I dunno it looks sort of tacky IMHO.

I'm looking for something a little more sleek.

Could always go classic cheiftech...that case I mentioned b4 was for a friend, it's kinda fun but I can see how it would get annoying after a while. Check this one out...

Are they really nice cases? Got a good review off hand?

My case IMO is pretty nice. Its a Ahanix Dbox case. It even tells ya what the temperature is of the cpu and such. I also like the drive bay covers to cover up the ugly drives with out having that annoying door.

Hm.... the chieftec case is looking pretty tempting...

Should I get the alluminum one, or will the steel be OK?

I actually like the steel ones better. Much more sturdy. The aluminum ones just feel cheap, they're only .5mm thick

The chieftec is huge, 18inches tall, if you dont mind the size its good, but I like the Antec Performance II black chassis. It comes with an ANtec Smart power 350W for $76 at newegg.

look no further than coolcases D8000. It is a great low cost case that will deliver topnotch features. It has two 120mm fan mounts, rubber grommets, and good airflow. It is a good match between cooling and quietness. Plus it looks great and has a nice paint job.

Cooler Master Model# ATC-201B-BXT - they have them at New Egg, but it's somewhat expensive. I have this case and I like it a lot. Super high gloss on the sides - w/quality window. It's a great case that will last you along time.

Another vote here for a Lian Li PC61...i've had mine for almost a year & absolutlely love it. It's quality through & through.
I got mine through MPC Computers...Directron has them as well. Directron also carries the side panels w/window fairly reasonable.

This is probably the nicest black case their is: coolermaster
But if you want something more affordable but still nice go for this Lian Li. Or if you want a top blow hole and a removeable motherboard tray try the pc61
