i am at wits end and want a new freakin game for the PC, I have KOTOR on the XBOX is it different on the PC? I want something like that.

If you are looking for a good multiplayer game, then get UT2K4. If you are looking for single player then I would recommend Pandora Tomorrow or Far Cry. They both have multiplayer but it's pretty half-assed; the SP is the meat of those games.

Call of Duty and Far Cry... Might also check out the oldies but goodies... If you don't have Half Life, you might considering picking that up so you understand the story behind Half Life 2 😀

40-60 FPS is hardly chewing up the computer... while not the best, there is other software that puts a bigger strain on things... such as Far Cry with EVERY setting maxed with 4XAA and 8XAF.

Well what i said may not be right b/c im running it on gf3 with everything low. Lots of people with thoses good cards and run it with 4xaa and 8xaf says the game can really get laggy. Download the 7day trail and try the game out. The battles are big and the game is massive (MMOG). The game has so much to do which im guessing same as new FC... but planetside just chews with thousands playing at a time on continent

I beta tested Horizons, and I'm told it's almost as demanding as Planetside, and my computer didn't have much trouble with that at 1024x768x32 with 4XAA and 8XAF.

Battlefield Vietnam and/or Battlefield 1942 are great.

RTC Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is great ... and its free

Call of Duty is very good, though I prever the games mentioned above better (though the single player in COD is among the best I have ever seen)

I didn't like the Demo for Far Cry all that much, but a couple of buddies at work rave about how great the game is, so I will likely purchase it.

I tried dues ex 2, and hated it, I couldn't figure out how to turn off mouse smoothing or mouse filtering or whatever its called, and I im extremely intolerant of mouse smoothing.

I played the Demo for painkiller, and I thought it was the coolest looking game I had ever seen, the physics in that game are freiking amazing. I haven't played the full version yet ... but it is on my list of games to acquire.

I'd recommend against Planetside (and other Sony/SOE games - most common are EverQuest and Star Wars: Galaxies) due to the astonishing lack of customer support and extremely buggy nature of them, especially considering they're monthly fee games. Blizzard fixes more bugs for their free Battle.net games, though they have fewer to begin with thanks to competent coding 😉
