or u could jus keep the 4600 its still a very capable card.......then u can save for the latest generation of cards out excrutiatingly soon!!

9800 Pro is an awesome deal for the performance, but in your case I would wait until the next-gen cards are out. That way you might find something with 12 or 16 pipelines at a decent price, or at least the current-gen cards will go down.

Well, as you can see, you have two options. Either get a 9800pro from newegg, or Keep the 4600 for a few more months and save up some more dollars for the next gen card (which would be my suggestion).
You will be muuuuuch happier if you can wait til then. Then, you wont be smacking yourself in the forehead saying, "I could have had an R420 or NV40 for just a little more cash and if I only had patience."

Your call 🙂

I'm for waiting a month or two to see what ATI and nV have to offer at the $300 price point. By then you may have saved enough to afford spending that much, or you can just pick up a 9800P for even less.

Just wait, the TI4600 will hold you over just fine until cards like the 6800 come out, that would be a smart buy. 🙂

I agree that waiting would be the smart thing to do. The price on a 9800 pro should be cheaper or you could save enough for the next generation cards.
