Recommend a good file transfer program via Wifi

I've tried AirDroid and SuperBeam so far.

I really like Super Beam as the file transfer speed is off the hook.
What I dislike about it is the add even in the premium version. (atleast according to the latest reviews).
Also it seems like dev has stopped updating the app.

Airdroid transfer speed isn't as fast as Super Beam and doing the transfer as I type, it does one file at a time.

Any other apps you recommend that also includes a desktop client?

I just need to be able to transfer files from PC to Phone (S7 Edge) faster the better. I usually transfer MP3s and movies.

A file manager with networking would probably be the way to go.

I use Solid Explorer on my phone and WinSCP on my computer.

I did not know you could transfer from PCs over the network with ES explorer. I'll have to mess with it when I get home.

Edit: found the "network" location in ES that I never bothered using before. It found my server immediately and I was able to copy music over easily. Awesome... Didn't even know that was there.

I use FX file manager - share my pc drive and explore to it on my phone and transfer away. Hate ES nowadays

I use WiFi File Transfer.

It just does one thing lets you access your phone by ftp over your network.

then all you have to do is point your computer's file explorer to the ftp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx address and copy files over.

It works fine for the infrequency I need to do file transfers.

Feem Lite works ok. There are ads but I use AdAway. Speeds are good enough. I used to use a proggy that combined wi-fi & bluetooth for transfers but i forget what it was called.
