Recommend A Good Case $65.00 ($70.00 if free shipping is included) or Less?

Should be able to fit an 9800 GTX.

Must be able to survive a New York Taxi Ride.

i'm always hesitent when transporting my PC around in my car. i NEVER put it in any trunk, only mb side down in the front seat or on the rear seat with other items surrounding it. i usually only transport my pc when i was moving apts and had to move lots of other stuff along with it.

i'd suggest a sturdy high quality case then. something not plastic and something not steel so it doesn't weigh a ton when its loaded with ur pc hardware when ur moving it (thermaltake)

COOLER MASTER RC-690. I got mine for under $40 after rebate. It goes on sale all the time. Great case.

Rosewill R5600 series from Newegg. I reviewed it here:
http://www.techimo.com/reviews/ in the Cases section all the way down to the end of the list: YeongYang/Rosewill as Yeong Yang is the OEM for the case. I also have a C-M Mystique 631 for sale in FS/T section. Made mostly of aluminum and has window so it is light and since the 9800GTX isn't all that long (roughly 9" per the EVGA spec sheet), it will fit. I'm in central NY, so shipping shouldn't be too bad in time or cost.

And I second Louiss... carrying tips. Never in trunk - always between the axles for least shock to the equipment. On seat or flat on the floor on folded blanket or other padding. Mobo down so add-on cards stay seated.

I use my Raidmax 1 as a server case for the College LAN Parties, get's transported 2x a month for a 40mi trip each way. Layed MB down, so the cooler won't break off :p

Biostar 7025-AM2 board
Athlon X2 4400+ overclocked to 2.8Ghz
1GB DDR2 RAM
Artic Freeze Pro 7 cpu cooler
Thermalright HR-05 NB cooler with fan
4HD's ranging form 160-500GB
2 DVD+-RW's
floppy
2x120 Extreme Turbine 2000 fans and 1x80mm Delta side intake
Season S-430PSU

Heavy little bastid, but the case holds it with VERY little flex.

You could check out the Alienware Outlet.
Granted, the shipping is a tad high but these are steel cases. They're actually a Chenbro SR105 series.
If you want plenty of room, a solid durable case, then you might want to check it out.

Yes, because full-towers are so easy to transport around. Seriously do you even read the OP's at all?

Not a particularly portable case there Tull. ;) Though a nice one for its intended purpose.

I actually love my Ultra Wizard. on the outside it looks like an antec, but on the inside it is much better built, and it cost me $50 a few years ago (without psu) at tigerdirect.
