Recommend a cheap but good car mp3/cd player?

I got my Panasoni 5310, motorized faceplate for 200 installed.

Sounds the same in low/middle but better highs as the Pioneer 4300 mp3 my friend has in his car. We both drive 93 camrys with stock speaker setups.

Alpines are too expensive for what you get in my opinion.
 
if you're talking about headunits, Pioneer DEH-4600MP is cheap, loads discs fast, and is widely available.
