Recommend a Bulletproof vest

JEDI

Amazon.com has a 20% off coupon in the Sports+Outdoors dept.
there are some Bulletproof vests in that dept.

i'm looking for something light + not too bulky, and can stop common handgun calibers. ie: 9mm, .40, .45

are there concealable bulletproof vests under spring/fall clothing? such that people cant tell you're wearing one?

Why do you need one? Just in case someone shoots you randomly? Do you want to look bulkier, like you have a lot of muscles?

Hagor makes some nice vests if you don't mind buying from an Israeli company. Should be listed under Partners2Create.

Since almost any hunting rifle cuts through any bulletproof vest like butter I don't mess with it.

Live in a good area until SHTF and vests would be useless after.

You should probably also get some chainmail, in case someone attacks you with a sword.

I hear power armor works well against most threats, including bullets, armor piercing bullets, swords, .50 Machine Guns, RPG, grenades and things that threaten existence itself.

Get yourself one today.

1" thick steel plate with a rope to hang from your neck. Make sure you wear a Mexican poncho over it so nobody will know you're wearing it.

Be careful with wearing dragonskin.

If you ever run into a dragon while wearing it you will provoke a attack of opportunity and proceed to get toasted a bit.

There is no such thing as a bullet proof vest. If the title says it's a bulletproof vest skip and move on to a real manufacturer of quality products. These aren't something you go cheap on, you get what you pay for. Second Chance makes good stuff.

Browse their soft plates and buy what fits your needs.

For a hardplate insert I really like the IMPAC ST plates, they are what we use. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PeowmnioCKQ

You get what you pay for. Buy junk and don't be pissed when it fails.

***make sure you check your state laws before you buy and make sure it's kosher.
