recommend a 27" Monitor

I need recommendations fo a new 27" monitor for a gaming set up. I would prefer something other than a TN panel. I would also like to keep the price under 450 dollars

You only get TN panels in $450. and not even high end TN panels but mid end or mid range TN panels.

High end TN panels will be $500-1000ish.

You can get a Catleap IPS for this kind of money from ebay.

IPS is almost always better than TN. It's also almost always a lot more expensive, too.

Like someone else mentioned get a Catleap from ebay, i have 2. Great monitors for the price it will cost you between $310-360 shipped for a IPS 27" 2560x14440.

The best is if you can get a Catleap that does 100-120hz.

TN panels are not bad though. For general use and gaming they are fine. You just have to select carefully to avoid ghosting problems. If you are doing photo editing and stuff like that for correct coloring then you want IPS.
