Recommend a 22" widescreen monitor

My 19" widescreen monitor just gave up the ghost and was looking for a quick ping for suggestions a good bang-for-the-buck widescreen monitor in the 22" range.

Edited to add some extra info. Requires DVI input, am running a Evga 8800GTS 320 video card. Used mostly for surfing and gaming.

Jarred says 'The HP w2207 may very well be the best 22" LCD currently on the market', though it is a TN panel which I don't like personally. That's why it's quite cheap but still pretty good value if you have a tight budget.

Hp w2207 🙂 I just got one and its really nice. Good whites and blacks, nice color range and even ok view angle for a TN panel. Text is really sharp as well, its on sale at CC for $309...

newegg has a 22" Acer for $229. viewing angle isn't the best and I wouldn't use it for graphics work, but it is good for surfing and gaming.

My personal biased recommendation: Samsung. Have had good luck with them.
