24 wouldn't have been on my list since season 1. After the format's novelty wears off, I'm left with piss-poor writing between each episode. Lost would have been on my top 3 a year or two ago, but now wouldn't make the top 5, possibly not the top 10. Too much of a rut right now.

Then assuming you can catch up on the above shows, those would be my pick. If you don't have the time or motivation to catch up, I'd say 24 or House in addition to the Office instead of BSG/Heroes because it's pretty easy to get into them without having seen previous seasons.
