Yeah, Dexter is great although the ending to season 1 was sooooooooo obvious.

not active, but that's a bad reason to ignore them:

- Nowhere Man

 It's a bit weak in the first half of the season, but overall an EXCELLENT show. "Spiders Webb" remains my favorite episode of all time from ANY tv series.

The three shows I watch are:

Lost
Heroes
Grey's Anatomy

Of those, I would say Lost is the best overall but this season has been lousy. Heroes started out with a good premise but is already going downhill. So by default, I'd have to recommend Grey's Anatomy because its been consistently good.

My Name is Earl
Ugly Betty
2.5 Men

however Futurama would trump them all if it was still on and not a Straight to DVD stocking stuffer for next Christmas.

The Best show on TV is Rescue Me
then:

House
Heroes
Jericho
24

Huff, on Showtime, was also a great show, but for some reason canned after 2 great seasons

Rome, definetly. I'm suprised only two other people have mentioned it so far!

Rome wasn't really a TV series. It was a mini-series. Although I've heard they may make a second mini-series.

Battlestar Galactica
24
Deadwood

Uh no, incorrect.

The second season of Rome starts January 14th.

And Deadwood isn't active, although I heard that two feature length movies will be made to tie things up.

Jericho - interesting concept and really brings me back to my youth and living in the early 80's. Reminescent of the Day After and Red Dawn.

Uh...if by obvious you mean what I think you mean...the viewer is supposed to know who the killer is by the last episode. That isn't exactly the surprise.

But you may be talking about the other aspect...I didn't think that was so obvious.
