Good choice on heatsink, I have a 92mm Tornado cooling my stock Athlon 64 3200+, K8V SE Deluxe, and SLK-948U. The Tornado is overkill, I ramp it down to 3000 RPMs with my rheobus and it still keeps the CPU under 40C idle. Since 92mm fans are generally quieter than 80mm fans per same CFM, I recommend getting a 92mm fan.

Ok, thanks. So a 92mm Panaflo? Wait, i just stumbled upon the vantec 80mm UV LED fans... any good? 2900 RPM.

92mm Panaflo M with rpm sensing from Frozencpu.com is what i have. It works quite nicely and its decently quiet. At 12V somewhat noisy, but at 9V is pretty quiet.

I cannot comment on the vantec fan, never owned one. Only thing I have owned from that company is their Nexus 5.25" fan controller which made this terrible buzzing noise whenever a fan was lowered to ~9V.

Another 92mm fan i have had decent luck with is the 92mm Enermax RED or BLUE fan with variable resister. This gave me a wide range of noise/cooling ability. It is slightly noisier than the panaflo that i mentioned.

I just got the SLK-900A with vantec tornado (92mm) and installed it just a few minutes ago. Honestly, I love the heatsink and fan. With the fan at half-way (which is not very loud at all, might I add), I idle 40C when case temp is 32C. With the fan turned up all teh way (need me earmuffs) I get about 39C. At a very low speed (2000rpm), which is virtually inaudible as the sound gets drowned out by my antec case fan, I get 42C idle. I haven't tried any other fans on it but hey, this suits me perfectly. But if you do decide to get the Vantec tornado, make sure you have a fan controller. I can't stand this kind of noise... yeesh, brings back memories of when I had the delta 7000rpm 60mm =P
