well dell looks like a good monitor but I read that DVI on the Dell sucks as far as image quality goes , I will be using dvi for this monitor not analog.
is samsung 205bw much better than lg 204wt.

How bad is the banding on the dell monitor?

I wouldn't go for the Viewsonic 2035, it uses a TN panel. If you want Viewsonic, try to find the 2025, it's discontinued, but still available some places.

Its between dell and lg now , i read dell was using S-IPS in 2007wfp and now switching to switching to PVA . did anyone ordered the 2007 recently ??
With dell I will be spending $380 including shipping and tax not sure if its a good deal or not.

Does anyone knows if dell is still shipping these panels type Philips S-IPS (LM201W01) and LG.Philips S-IPS (LM201U04) either of them in the US.
I narrowed down to these three monitors
samsung 204BW , LG L204WT and dell ultrasharp 2007wfp.

Finally got dell 2007 wfp, on the panel it says RT803 looks likes a s-ips panel, any suggestions on how to calibrate this thing , and check so everything is ok. Few things I noticed , when there is no pc activity ,on the monitor I see red, blue , green color. Any way to stop the monitor going into powersave mode.

I am starting to notice bleeding on the monitor I guess thats a common problem with dell monitors
