SO I spent a while setting up my own webserver, but I decided against that because I doubt a P133 will do very well serving up dynamic content. Here is what I need:

500mb space
at least 3gb of bandwidth
Mysql
wordpress

Preferred:
5gb of space+
20gb bandwidth+
Ruby on rails
cpanel

I'm also a highschool student on a budget, so cheaper is better. Web hosting has been cheap fro a while though. I'd also rather pay per year than per month. The ability to pay with paypal would be a huge benefit, so I don't have to borrow my dads CC or wait a few months for mine.
 
I have a WordPress blog hosted by www.dathorn.com. For roughly $14.00 a month you get quite a lot and it is a reseller account so you can have as many domains as you want on it as long as you have the space to provide for each domain.
