<< Just finished playing Super Mario RPG! OMG its so much fun. Sometimes old games are tons better than the crap thats brought out today.. >>

On the original SNES or on an emulator? Never got it to run on the emulator, and I don't have my SNES anymore...

I would recommend:

1) Emulation. As DOACleric said, sometimes the classics are best.

2) Have you played Railroad Tycoon II? It's a slightly older game and the concept may sound silly but I remember it as an enjoyable and relaxing way to piss away an afternoon, which sounds right up your alley.

3) If you like RPGs and don't mind primitive ANSI graphics I would recommend Roguelike games (Nethack, Rogue, ADOM, Ragnarok, etc.). Highly addictive.

If you just want to wander around and waste time, Riven the sequel to Myst is ok for that. It is one of those explore and solve puzzle games. Not too sure about the requirements though, should be ok for you.

The only game on the PC now you should play is warcraft3 beta. Find one of the threads and ask someone here how to get the illegit copy so that you can play on one of the nonofficial servers.

Turn Based Strategy : Civ III
Real Time Strategy : War3 Beta (easily aquired ;)) or Homeworld + Expansion if you haven't played them
First Person Shooter Multiplayer: Day of Defeat mod for Half-Life
First Person Shooter Single Player: Operation Flashpoint or Ghost Recon
Simulation: Independence War 2
Role Playing Game: Planescape: Torment (best RPG I have ever played on the PC, and I've played a lot), Baldurs Gate II

I don't play sports or racing games on the PC so can't reccomend you any.
