My first in flight video with the camera.
Please keep in mind it was very windy and I crashed it 2 times before hand just trying to get it to take flight! My next ones will be on calmer days so be sure to subscribe if you like to see more o it in the air and on the ground.

I been looking for a cheap one really just for shooting onboard video for my RC truck and plane. I didnt want to spend much for one just in case it fell from the sky or was in a bad crash going from 50 mph to 0 when I hit a tree, barn, or pole. I think this one will it the bill after watching some videos taken with it.

Its not stellar, but for $23 should do just fine till I can get $200 saved up or the Traxxas Hero, which wont be till next tax season 😛


OR you can just use to to spy on people, like the womans locker room at the gym 😱
or use it as an actual pen 😛

But in a few weeks plan on seeing aerial shots taken with it using my cheap pen/camera attached to my cheap Hobbyzone Plane, should be pretty cool 🙂
 
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I just remembered, my plane has a drop feature! I can attach the parachute to the camera instead of the little guy or bomb, send the plane way up in the air, and drop the camera instead, that would be cool and dont think there is a video on the youtube for that yet 🙂
I can send my plane way up and drop the camera and have video of it coming back down, hopefully in one piece.

I got to go sell some more stuff and get the add on for my plane before the camera gets here. Anyone want to buy some 360 games? <shameful fs plug in> Look for a thread soon!

I saw that one, and honestly its video looked not all much better, and kina worse then what the one I linked to does

Here is a video taken with the one I linked, and Id say save the $14, IMO of course.


But you can be the judge for here is the one thats supposed to be better at $14 more.


And even when you full size the cheap one it still looks "good", I use the word good loosely for we are talking about a $20 cheap ass spy pen camera here people not a $15,000 James Bond Fountain Pen, and its been even more compressed thanks to youtube so in person it will look even better, slightly if your lucky. I checked the pros and cons on them both before posting, and for what they are, and price, I can see getting much more "good" for more money out of ANY of the other ones unless you start hitting the above $50 range.

If anything at all, should provide you with at least $20 of cheap "spy" Hidden camera thrills 😱
 
watching some vids on youtube, with other brands or of this one, dont know, but it looks like its going to be fun to have and hide. I wont be telling the wife what it is, and let her use it to make out the check book sometimes and spy on her and see what she is saying about me when Im not around 🙂

much better video comparing the two, two different videos from different sites and different sizes doesnt do it justice. But it does appear that the lower res one is better, less detail but looks like much better color..

i picked up the $22 one, if it works at all i'll consider it worthwhile. who doesn't like cheap gadgets (that would have been mind-blowing 20 years ago).

Great find, and if they had that color of the cheap one, on the $14 more one, ID be all over the $14 more one, no questions asked. I took the lesser of two evils, better color, less frames, less money, for now. 6 months later, it will be 30fps, $20, outstanding quality, 300gigs, record for 80 hours non stop on lipo battery, give happy ending suck suck ad on option with real woman feel. U buy, u buy now, give good deal, but must buy now, wont find better, dis I promis chew.
 
Anyway to replace the USB Drive in it with a 8gb pen drive?
Actually, nevermind it doesn't do any good besides prolonging
the amount of time between erases.

Looks fun though 🙂
 
Would prob be very poor quality for fast motion like on a RC car or Plane... Watch how it blurs when panning///

The plane when it gets far up in the air, things should be moving pretty slow on the ground, which is what Im mainly getting it for anyway, plus the plain is slow to begin with. Not a rocket, and ground goes by slower further up you get 🙂

Should do ok. In the car though, I think your right, it may suck, but this was to test the waters and see if I want to spend more on a better one anyway later on.

Bah, against my better judgment I'm in for 1. If it works well my dorm will probably buy a dozen or two to fit to the wooden roller coasters and shit we build for rush....

You will need a light source for this to work, its not a night vision camera, and it will smell like tuna for months 😱
 
The more expensive of the two (both are probably the same) says that a red LED periodically flashes while recording.
 
i had a sony recorder that also periodically beeps when recording, got some puzzle looks from the bosses wondering where that came from
