What would the risks of a recertifieds psu be? I am looking at a recertified 300w Seasonic for my brothers computer. I was under the impression that Seasonic was a quality brand. He has a phenom 9950, with no intention to OC. He also has a raptor hd, 1 dvdrw, and a 2600xt gpu. The ram is 2 dimms of pny xlr8 running at ddr2 1066. Thanks!
 
It is probably just one someone sent in for an RMA and either there was nothing wrong with it, or Seasonic fixed the problem. As long as it comes with a decent warranty, then I wouldn't worry about it.
