What do ya mean by tweak it? tweak the computer parts.. as in a little better heatsink or such?..

if your talking about parts... Well.. thats a nice rig.. but if ya have so much cash.. I would get

PC Power and cooling power supply(turbo-cool 510, I have one in my rig right now)

Better brand of ram.. Kingston.. Mushkin.. OCZ..

thats about it.. :p

I'd like to see pics of that 30" LCD. I mean-- you do have a DigiCam, right? I would assume one with such a budget could afford a digi-cam, or wouldn't mind blowing $20 at the local bestbuy on a webcam.

At the top of his post he DID say NewEgg....notice the small list under that title? Ok....follow down some more....there we go, "MWAVE"! Yay! another retailer!!! Hurray! Oh, what's this? More items? Could this be done in some kind of---order? What? Holy cow! "Other"!!! What could that possably mean? You mean there's more? What? And "30" NEC LCD" isn't under NewEgg? No sh1t!

I wasn't questioning the existance of such an LCD. I was asking for pictures of one in-person. While doing so I was also poking fun, using lite-humor, at his wealth.

Yeah.. no harm done.. my post was a bit sarcastic.. in a very slight way.. I knew that he didnt buy that at newegg.. but everything else was..

And newegg has pictures of the LCD...

I didnt think very much before posting that.. forgive my sarcasm.

Too bad that system would be no good as a gaming rig. The monitor response time is a little slow....

He should sell it and buy two Dell 2001FPs with 16ms response time. :D

Honestly, the Dell 2001FP is the best monitor out there. I would buy that instead of two CRTs. And for playing games dual-monitors cause more trouble then good, honestly.

I alread own the CRT monitor so I am not spending anything extra, the rest of my budget goes to my cooling system and speakers or stereo set up I buy for the computer, or and blank dvd media

Under your monster rigs it shows you with a 17". You have two CRT's too?

Oooooo, 30" LCD! Nice man!

The only thing I would change is the keyboard. If you have the extra money, I would recommend THIS keyboard/mouse combo. It is the SH!T! It should hopefully be in stock soon.

Native Resolution: 1280 x 768(16 : 9)

Ugh. I would pass on that. That will look quite bad as a monitor. The pixel grain will kill your eyes. A monitor of that size should be 1920x1200 MINIMUM. This is clearly made for movie viewing.

Cheers!

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!

You, my friend, have hit it on the nose.

I'd still like to see pictures of the monitor when it arrives. Then I'd like to see pictures of the fool that wasted $3,000 on it. Seriously, now. If you're going to spend that much money, why not toss a few extra grand out and go plasma?

Talk about misinformed.

1) He has an Antec Truepower 550w PSU.
2) PC3200 Infineon chips are perfectly reliable. Why does he need another brand for more money, if he can get the exact same performance from what he already has?
