rryde12,

I had a few pics that came out semi-blurry also.
I thought it was just me!

I'm sure it's some setting that we don't have right.

Those of you who have blurry pictures need to stay still while taking pictures or set the exposure time to something like 1/600 sec or 1/800. Then you won't get anything blurry. I have driven 80 mph on the freeway and gotten good pics simply from setting the shutter speed very fast.

For u people out there with the camera.. what are settings r u using when your taking simple pictures with the camera. I use the "MY" selection and use my default selected settings of SQ- 1024x768 and on High Quality.. It still is kind rounded and blurry instead of being sharp like what I would expect it to be. Plus the color of the image is kinda wack.. There's areas of the picture where you can see color distortion (like how a picture gets when u convert it from bmp to gif).. I stand still when i take the pictures so thats not a problem... I just want that sharpness.. Anyone know how to get it?! Please tell me how u get those pics and ur settings THANKS!

Just as an fyi for all of you camera buyers out there. Officedepot has a new promo from today until the 14th. If you buy any digital camera, you get a free camera bag. I went back with my receipts and they gave me my free bags.......nice little extra spiff......:)

Yup... the $50 off works... the D-550 from Olympus can be had for about the same price too but you get a free 64Meg SM card with it from Olympus. I believe there's another thread about it. I bought that camera... not bad... dunno how it compares to the 3020.

I'm just wondering, how can I get the D-550 for about the same price ($170), because the D-550 is a nice camera. Thanks.

Sorry... same price without demo discount... that'd be:
Coupon $50 of $250 and it comes to : $299 + $26.40 of tax = $276.39
