Recent Buddies, WTF IS THAT?

Everytime someone new IMs me now their screenname appears on my buddy list under Recent Buddies. WTF is this crap? If I wanted to add them I'd add them.

it's a new feature they added on, so that you don't forget who imed you...say the guy imed u just incase you wanted them on your buddy list and forgot to add them.

they added the feature onto regular aim, where there aren't any logs 😉

if you go into preferences there is an option to disable the "recent buddies" thing
