Recent additions thread - SETI@Home

We haven't had one of these that I have seen in a while, so let's hear about the recent additions to the SETI effort.


My output will raise a little in the neart future. I have 24 P4 1.7s in boxes in the room next to my office that will go in next week. We just order another 30 systems today that will either be C-1GHz or P4-1.7s. (I don't know what they actually ordered......)


Either way - 😀


Plus I have 10 days of 24/7 crunching from all of my work computers, which are normally used during the day, because of spring break next week! 🙂

60 C-1GHz
1 P4-1.7
30 P3-550

And I just got a XP1600, Duron 600(which I hope to run at 800), and Duron 850 back up at home, and a dual C-366 (Which I hope to put a 550 each) that is new. 🙂



This should be a good week for me!! 😀

I just added one 1.0 duron, and 1 900 Athlon. 2 dual Tyan mobos, both with 1.0 dual durons are waiting for memory, then those will be up too.

Production went from 8 to 16. With the duals, I hope to be about 28-29 or so.

I managed to assimilate that 1.7 GHz P4 at work - only temporary.. just this week and next. 😱

I'll be stopping by a local liquidator place this Saturday to pick up a half-dozen p2-350 chips for use in boards that I already have too! 🙂 Only problem is that I'm scheduled to work about 60 hours next week, so getting 'em all running may take a while. 🙁

I've assimilated a P3-500 for "testing purposes" for roughly a week, so it's only a temporary addition. 😱

BTW, I did get those p2-350s that I mentioned before.. now, I just need the time to assemble.
