Receiving Harrasing Texts

So beginning last night I started receiving harrassing texts from a number I don't recognize. The other weird part is it is on my business cell phone.

I've tried texting back to ask who it was and also tried calling. Unfortunately, they didn't answer the few times I tried and the voicemail isn't set up to say who it is.

Being the person I am, I like to sometimes get people like this back for trying to provoke me then running and hiding under the table.

Is there a service online that I can sign up a phone number to get spammed with like 500-1000 texts or anything like that?

Other thoughts on how to get this anonymous person back?

**Update 9/6/09**

I have tried calling the number from various phones over the last couple of days. The phone is provided by Cricket and does not allow for voicemail and does not say who the person is.

Tonight I have had the following text conversation from the person:

(THEM) How art thou?
(ME) I Art Art.
(THEM) Indeed
At this point I tried to call from a different phone number
(THEM) Nice try.
(ME) How long do you plan to hide behind texts?
(THEM) Proverbs 13:3
*note: For those that do not know this verse it is: "He who guards his lips guards his life, but he who speaks rashly will come to ruin."
(ME) Matthew 7:3
*note: For those that do not know this verse it is: "How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?"

Anyone know if I can contact Cricket to find out who the hell this is? I'm assuming they wouldn't be able to give this information out.

Another 9/6 Update
I have now received a death threat from this person. I will be ceasing all communication and contacting the authorities.

post the number on /b with a picture of tits

the number in question will be rewarded with pictures of cock.

/b?

Not his personal army, also if you dont know what it is, leave it that way.

What the person is doing is harassment and its illegal.

so instead of trying to resolve the issue you want to escalate it? sounds a bit hypocritical to me.

How do you resolve? Block the number?

Also, this could end up being a friend messing with me, but I doubt it based on the message content. I would prefer to get them back first and ask questions later. I guess it is just in my blood that way.

Internet superheroes.
They do not forgive.
They do not forget.
They are the true face of the internet.

Seriously, I like the idea of spamming the fuck out of anyone who harrasses me.

Getting back to the origninal idea, I dont know exactly how it works. How do you know what the persons provider is?
I mean, if you assume its Verizon and you know their number, how does it work? Do you just send stuff to 7035551234@verizon.net or what?

Since it's your business line, how about you do what any normal person would do and block their number?
