I, too, have been searching out a budget-priced receiver and I agree 100% - this is a great deal.

Until now, the best I had found was a 5.1 Pioneer sans the network connectivity for $180.

7.1, 6 HDMI slots, Ethernet connection, 3D ready, A & B outs. This is an awesome deal. Now, how do I get my wife to let me buy it.

I was thinking about getting this receiver, but I needed a zone 2 and not a zone B. Instead, I got the Onkyo TX-NR515. It used to be $299 on Amazon and Newegg, but now it has gone up to $366 at Amazon and $499 at Newegg. It also came with a free wireless adapter from Amazon, which I use to stream Pandora and Spotify to my zone 2 hookups. And I can control everything with the app on my phone.

I've heard of some problems with the HDMI switching on the Onkyo though, however I don't use the HDMI output as I have my HTPC hooked up via optical and my projector is hooked up to the PC directly.

Ok, just ordered it with a pair of Pioneer floor speakers, no tax, no shipping. $399.98 out the door.

damn you AT.... & OP!! Great deal, thought it over since Friday.. Bit today and got an Energy sub while I was at it for another 199... CANT WAIT! If the warehouse was open, I'd opt for will call in City of Industry!

Yeah I ordered mine last night. If I was in City of Industry I'd do the same, sadly I'm in Ohio 😛

Good receiver. I have it. It works well.

Cons to me are:
Remote has too many small buttons.
Owners manual isnt the best either. Found a few mistakes.
