Alright, so recently I finally setup my system. Everything was hooked up, and I used this cable:

With this adapter:

To connect the Digital I/O on my soundcard (SB XtremeMusic) to the Digital Coax port on my receiver.
However, when doing this, I get interference with my picture on all outputs. By unplugging the cable, it disappears.
I tried moving the cable away from all power sources, still no go.
My question is, where do I go from here?
Should I try another adapter? Is there a special adapter for Digital RCA?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
