Received my Opteron forom Monach today!

It's an Opteron 148. The Stepping is CABYE 0536GPMW. Just wondering if this is "one of the good ones". I'm gonna through it in a little later. I'll let you know how I do!

i have a opteron 146 0540 CABYE gpmw and i can get 2900 with 1.5 vcore cant get 3000 but think my motherboard is the problem so you should have a good chip

don't give up yet!

i got 2.9 with 1.5 volts as well prime95 6+ hours stable (small fft).

i'm testing 3.0 right now...

i've gone from a few seconds ... to a few minutes... to 30 minutes...

it's all about messing with the vcore/max async latency/read preamble

I'm still waiting on my 170 from Monarch They ran out of freakin' DFI boards so I had to order from ZZF so I'm waiting on that anyway....

I got CABYE from monarch, too. Mine's doing 2700 right now on stock cooling, stock voltage, on air Haven't tried for higher.

yeah i will continue to try and push this a little higher, but really considering a new board which will give me an excuess to get a new gfx card (i'm thinking 7800 gt time)
